Dennis John Bloniarz Sr., of Mesa, AZ passed away September 21, 2020 at the age of 75. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to John Dennis and Loretta [Sadowski] Bloniarz. Dennis was a very generous, loving and hardworking man who made friends everywhere. He was always smiling, and was everybody’s dad when his children were growing up. He graduated from Marshall High School in Chicago in 1963 and then went on to serve two years in the U.S. Army. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the Sharp Shooter Rifle Badge. On January 31, 1973, Dennis married the love of his life, Marlene Ann Malecki in Winfield, IL. Dennis owned and operated his own jewelry business, D&M Enterprises for 33 years in Mesa, AZ. He loved taking trips to Las Vegas and San Diego and enjoyed following sports. His favorite team was the Chicago Cubs, but he enjoyed watching all teams from Chicago and Arizona. Above all, Dennis loved being with his family. Dennis is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Marlene; his children, Jackie Teuerle, Sandie Nantz, Dennis Bloniarz Jr., Cynthia Detkos, Susan Sanguigni and John Bloniarz; his brothers Wayne Bloniarz and Jerry Bloniarz as well as 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 pm, Sunday, September 27th at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Rd. in Mesa. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, September 28th at All Saints Catholic Church, 1534 N. Recker Rd., Mesa, AZ. Interment will follow the mass at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Mesa.
