Edrice Percy

Edrice Percy, age 102, of Gilbert, Arizona passed away on Wednesday October 17, 2018. Edrice was born April 18, 1916 in Port Salut, Haiti to Despre Percy and Clelida Jones. Edrice grew up in Petite-Riviere with his 5 siblings; Cleane, Fanes, Marguerite, Edgard, and Josephine. He graduated from Ecole Macabe in 1935 and went on to get his Theology diploma. In 1945, Edrice married Marie P. Charles, and they went on to have ten children; Rayonne, Henock, Jules, Joel, Paulaine, Michlene, Roselene, Walter, Jean Vaslin, and Suzette. Edrice was also blessed with 41 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Edrice served the Lord for more than 60 years as the pastor of Eglise de Dieu de Carpentier. His favorite pastime was reading the Bible. Throughout his later years, Edrice was a member of the Chandler Church of God. During his retirement, Edrice found pleasure in fasting, prayer, going to church, and spending time with his family.

Edrice is survived buy his wife, Marie P. Percy, and children Rayonne, Jules, Joel, Michlene, Roselene, Walter, Jean Vaslin, and Suzette. He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
