Mildred Jean Steveson

We are sad to announce that Mildred “Millie” Steveson passed away, peacefully, surrounded by family, on the morning of November 4, 2023. She was born in Amarillo Texas on July 23, 1928. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Christina Francis, her 10 brothers and sisters, her son Roger, and her daughter Beverly.

She is survived by 5 children, Brenda (Thomas) Rupert, Rose (Stephen) Pebley, Randy (Lynne) Steveson, Lloyd (Marilyn) Steveson, and Curtis (Shari) Steveson, along with 18 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 13 great, great grandchildren.

“Celebration of Life Services” will be held on November 15 at 3:00 p.m. at Christ’s Church of the Valley – East Valley, located at 1330 S. Crimson Rd., Mesa Az. 85209.

Millie embodied the life of Jesus as she loved everyone, without expecting anything in return. Her love was fierce and never yielding, especially when it involved her family. She was a true “Angel on Earth”.

The Steveson family would like to recognize the staff at Hospice Compassus for their compassion, professionalism, and unwavering support in their care for our beloved Mother.
