Rev. Tarbwij Charley was born in the Marshall Islands on January 28,1954. He is survived by his wife Wasnet Charley and children, Richard, Hetty, Tarnes and Kuto.
Tarbwij was a pastor and was very passionate about his teachings and sharing the word of God. He touched so many lives in so many ways and has left a legacy for all of us to remember. Although words cannot express the depth of the loss we feel right now, we have fond memories of Tarbwij that will help us heal.
Tarbwij loved fishing, it was one of his favorites hobbies to do. He also loved singing, you can never miss his high pitch tenor tone. He was also a counselor and preacher, and can talk for days. He was always there for relatives and friends when in need. He was a people person and he loved everyone. Tarbwij was always happy and in great spirits, and he shared that with everyone who touched his heart. He also loved his grandchildren very much and spent his finals days with them.
A special thank you to International Outreach Services and the medical team at Mayo Clinic for their loving care and support during his final days. Also, the family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Advantage Melcher Chapel of the Rose for being very accommodating and understanding during this difficult time.
