Essie Cavanaugh Anastasio passed away in Houston, TX on Sunday, March 3, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Frank L. Anastasio, Sr. Mother of Frank Anastasio, Jr. (Jackie), Philip Anastasio (Bobbi), Michael Anastasio (Elaine) and Rebecca Cook (David). Grandmother of Tonya, Kristen, Sara, Matthew, Paul, Noelle, Bethany, Andrew, Amy, Andrea, Zachary and Hannah. She is survived by her 2 sisters, Margaret Holmes and Erma Pagano, and her brother, Bobby Cavanaugh. She was preceded in death by her parents, Macon and Florence Cavanaugh. Also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA.
