It is always sad when I see another obit that turns up as I am looking for family. I do genealogy so it happens sometimes. I wish I could meet them first but as usual, most of the time I did not have enough material on them to figure it out. Your mother was beautiful and I know I would have loved her so. Jean Baptiste Michaud and Rosalie Florestine Roy were married . There daughter Isma Marie Michot Ducote was your grandmother. I am related thru your grandfather. he was my great uncle.
I hope you get in touch with me but if you cannot its okay. I have met my cousins in my heart.

Michoud is spelled many ways depending in what part of the world you are in. LOL

It was such an honor to know you. I will never forget your intelligence, curiosity, kindness, caring nature & sense of humor. You were a beautiful lady and I will miss you. My thought & prayers are with John, Linda, Patricia and the rest of your family during this difficult time. The world would be a better place if there were more people like you in it. Rest in peace my friend. Rest in peace.
