Heck of a ride babe!!!! I am always indebted to you for showing me the way of the swing, enriching my life with your colorful metaphors, and being there for me when my father, Charlie Appel, passed away. Your spirit shines bright as ever and endures on through us all. I always remember how excited you got when the ball made contact with the sweet spot of the bat. Thank you for always being there for me and sharing your vast knowledge and guidance of the game of baseball and life. You are one heck of a coach and a human being! I hope to impart to my children the "Booth" method! Evelyn, children, and grandchildren, stay strong, we lost one of the best ones life had to offer.
All of our love,
Michael Appel and The Appel Family
