Sweet Bernie! I had the pleasure of not only cutting your hair for many years, but becoming your friend. Your stories and pictures were always so fun! Your faith in God made mine stronger! The gifts you and Shirley would bring me from home will be cherished forever! Your last words to me were "God bless you". And something told me they would be the last words between us... I couldn't have asked for a better parting gift from you! My quilted Christmas pillows are already out! My handmade salad bowl and cutting board will forever bring memories of you while I feed my family! I'm going to miss you like crazy! But I know you are well and grinning from ear to ear staring our lord!!!!!!! Love you.
Shirley,
You are the example of what every wife should be. The love and dedication you showed your husband is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for letting me be apart of your lives! I cherish you both and wish I could hug you right now! Time will ease your heartache. I know you are missing your best friend as are so many others! All my love to you.
