David Brian “Dave” Staup, 53, of West Carrollton, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton.

He was born March 11, 1965 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Paul and Dorothy (Hughes) Staup.

Dave enjoyed cooking, gardening and was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan. He was a man that never met a stranger and his true pride and joy was his granddaughter, Lyla.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dewayne Staup; and his father-in-law, Nathan Banks.

FAMILY

He is survived by his wife, Freda Staup; daughters, Brittany Staup and Heather (Ethan) Miller; granddaughter, Lyla Lisa Jean Miller; mother-in-law, Wilma Banks; several nieces and nephews; as well as his loving companion, Snowflake.
