I was saved by Pastor Jack and his kindness and patience towards me was greatly appreciated. His preaching had a profound effect on me. He was truly one of a kind. Pastor Jack always had time for me and a kind word. My father, a fellow Navy retiree, was also affected by Pastor Jack. I don’t know of anyone who met him that wasn’t affected in a positive way. We were truly blessed to have known him.

You could always count on Pastor Jack to have a beautiful smile on his face. No matter what the situation, he was always cool headed, even tempered and his love for everyone just radiated from him. He was truly a man of God. Sweet natured and kind. He had a kind word for everyone. No matter how bad he felt nearing the end of his walk here on earth, you never heard him complain, and he was always at church unless he just couldn’t get up at all. Even if he wasn’t preaching, he was there. He loved his church and church family. His desire was to see Brannanfield Baptist Church grow and bring more people to the Lord. He will be greatly missed. We will continue to pray for his family during this difficult time.

My Heart is so sad to hear this news. Brother Jack and Mrs Jean were my God sent. I was a member of Brandy Branch Baptist and I loved them so much. They were there for me during a Devastating time I my life. Brother Jack was the pastor who taught me to fall in love with my Jesus. I have thought about and prayed for them so many times in the past years. I tried to locate them and were unable to locate, I just wanted love on them. I still refer to Pastor Jack as my greatest pastor ever. I know this smile is entering the gates of heaven as he falls before our Lord to worship Him. My prayers and love to Mrs Jean and family.

Jack made an impact on my life and I will never forget him. I still have the bible and boy scout spoon and fork set he gave me. I have thought so much about him over the last few days. I loved staying with him when Jean worked. One time he was taking the boys to camp and came and got me to ride up to where ever they were going, it seems it was way up in the mountains. After he dropped them off he brought me back to Pigeon Forge and we went to Mountain Ocean. Jack also took me see the orginial Star Wars and it was also my first time going to Pizza Hit. Such good memories.
I still remember when he baptized me, I was literally on my tippy toes and scared Ibwas going to drown. He out his arm around me and held me up so I wouldnt go under the water. I loved him.
