Jane Patricia Gollmyer, 77, on Palm Sunday April 14, 2019 walked with God. She was born on May 2, 1941 in Hockessin, Delaware to August A. Antoine Sr. and his wife Isabella C. (O’Brien). She was 1 of 12 children: 6 boys and 6 girls. She is preceded in death by all her brothers: Charles, Leon, Joe, Teddy, August Jr., Jimmy and her sisters: Marie, Isabelle and Ann. She leaves behind 2 loving sisters: Camille Clark and Terese Curran. She married her longtime friend and love, Robert E. Gollmyer. They were married 38 years. Jane was a dedicated homemaker and mother, first and foremost a mother. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She is the loving and devoted mother to Veronica Szoke (John), Cecelia Haddock (Keith) and Monica Garcia (Robert). She is also survived by her husband’s children: Allen Gollmyer (Aurora) and Teresa Dennis (Neil). She especially loved the roll of grandma and great grandmother. Her daughters gave her 6 loving grandchildren: David, Jennifer, Jessica, Brittany, Erica and Hunter. To add to her love: Valliere, Alan Jr., Christine, McKenzie and Dylan. She has 7 great grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling across the United States and Canada with her camper and boat in tow. She went off the beaten path, a lover of nature. She loved to bass fish even joining the fishing tournaments. She told no fish tales-she simply got them all. She loved life and lived it well. We all needed her here, but God needed her more. She will be greatly missed and loved by all. A visitation will be held 6-8 PM, Monday, April 22, 2019 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Rd, Middleburg, FL. Funeral Mass will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, 1649 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park.
