Joseph Garmback Sr.

Joseph "Joe" Garmback Sr., age 74, of Brook Park, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Beloved husband of Marlyon (nee Guinn) for 50 years. Loving father of Susan Luszczynski (Luke), Arlene, Christine Anthony (Brian) and the late Sgt. Joseph Garmback, Jr. Cherished grandfather of Gabby, Jackie and Shane Luszczynski, Denise, Maddie and Ethan, and great grandfather of Jaxon and Theo. Dear brother of Carol Jenkins (Bob), Julie Mitchler (Scott), Kim Vaith, Mark Videc, Mike Videc, Michelle Doehring (late Chuck), Marlene Kendall (late Ben) and the late Mary Green (Van), Pete Garmback (Tootsie) and Diane Esquivel.

Joe was the kind of man who made life better just by being in it. He loved nothing more thank heading out camping with his family, where countless memories were made around the fire under the stars.

Joe was always the first to show up if you needed a hand - it didn't matter if it was day or night. If you called, he was there. Known for having every tool imagianable, Joe could fix anything and he did it with a smile.

Joe had a soft spot for dogs, who always seemed to sense his gentle, kind nature. Above all, Joe was a devoted family man and a loyal friend, whose generosity and love will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Joe was a U.S. Army Veteran and will be buried with honors at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio on Tuesday August 19, 2025 at 12:45 PM. Please arrive at 12:30 PM.
