Mike and I shared a lot together, mostly good times. The most precious thing we shared was our son, Jay. Mike was an extremely intelligent man and most did not get to see that side of him because he was such a cut - up. Without much trying, Mike exceeded at everything he attacked. He was an honor student in High School, breezed through university while we were married and went on to have a great career. He brought a lot of life and love into many folks lives. We will miss his keen sense of humor and his laughter but we will never forget it. Our friendship was cherished.

Mike was a longtime friend of mine and my now deceased husband. In our younger days we enjoyed parties, cookouts and just hanging out. My fondest memories of Mike was whenever we all went to the outdoor fiddlers conventions. It didn’t take long for Mike to get up in the crowd of several hundred people and start clogging (not very good) as we egged him on. He would have more fun than anybody else there. The rest of us were laughing ourselves silly with all his antics. He didn’t mind. He’d just rest long enough to get another drink and up he’d go again. It didn’t matter where we were Mike was the life of the party, always kind and welcoming to everyone he knew. As the years raced by, I’d see Mike on occasion as he visited my place of business when he came back home to Eden. He spoke of his wife JoAnn and his wonderful kids and grandkids. Once I remember him talking about a very sweet dog he had come upon. Don’t remember her name but she even made the trip with him to visit old friends and family. I’ll never forget Mikes awesome laughter and what a great and caring guy he was. It was an honor to have had him in my life and I will never forget him. I am so very deeply saddened to hear of his passing but I do know I’ll see him again on the other side. My deepest sympathies to you all.

Mike was a very humble and caring person. I loved his laugh. He was loved by so many people. I was fortunate to know Mike and his family. So there are lots of good memories. He had lots of adventures in his lifetime but it didn't take a lot to make him happy.

I have to many great memories to share just one, and I will treasure them all, but my favorite would have to be the nights at my parents farm, all the sermons that were preached & the make-shift wedding he & Joann officiated. Mike was a great man, had a fantastic sense of humor, and was just an all around good, fun, & loving man. RIP Michael, He will be missed by many! My deepest and sincerest condolences to all his family and many friends.
