Mrs. Ameel had the most beautiful smile and expressive eyes. She was a friend of my mom's from way back. My mom was Reyes Rangel. She was a blessing at every encounter I had with her. Terri Padilla

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Mrs Ameel was my 4th grade CCD teacher at St Anns. What an excellent example to have as a teacher of religion. She lived her beliefs. I am a better person for having known her and having her in my life.

Dear Jim, Chris, Suzanne, and Elizabeth, Please accept Irina and my's condolences at Jo Annes' passing on to Christ's loving arms. We continue to hold you all in prayer as you grieve. Jo Anne's faith in Christ was like the west Texss sun, shinning brightly down on all and giving warmth, light and joy. My life and faith are stronger due to your mother's!
