Marta Rubio Orr, 62, passed away May 4, 2018 after a lengthy illness.

She was born on January 19, 1956, and was the only daughter of Joaquin and Maria Rubio. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High in 1974. Marta was preceded in death by her father Joaquin Rubio Sr.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, John Orr, son Shane Orr, daughter Rachel Hernandez, grand children Myranda Ramos, Joey Hernandez and Nolan Orr, brother Joaquin Jr., Jesus, Joe and Pedro Rubio.

Funeral Services will be held at Ellis Funeral Home; viewing will be on Monday, May 7 2018, from 5:00pm to 8pm with the rosary at 7:00pm. On Tuesday a service will be held at 10:00 am in the Chapel. Burial will take place on Wednesday May 9, 2018 at 1:00pm at Rosewood Memorial Park in Humble, Texas.
