Andreas Valdemar Wadstrom

Andrew (Andreas) Wadstrom passed away on September 1, 2023, from causes incident to age. He was born on June 13, 1926, in Oslo, Norway, as the third son of Andreas Valdemar Wadstrom and Ruth O. Wadstrom. After a difficult youth during the Nazi occupation of Norway, he immigrated to the United States permanently in 1952 and eventually gained his citizenship and held a variety of occupations culminating in the sale of household appliances. In his work, he travelled to many cities and also returned to Europe and other parts of the world for leisure travel with his friend and companion of nearly forty years, Marge Nichols. His loving family in Norway, Tom W., Linda, Tom K., Per Kristian, Kristine, Nina, Jeanine, and Larina and his American friends as well extend their gratitude for everything to Uncle Andy and will miss him greatly. May he rest in peace with his parents and brothers Oivind and Per!

A memorial graveside service will be held on Friday, September 22 at 1:00 PM at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 Highland Drive in Salt Lake. Family and friends wish to extend deepest gratitude to Life Care for their kind and loving services during the last three months of his life.
