Where do I begin? Ken was like my foster father in NY since my parents live in Florida.(He didn’t want me to call him Mr.Spegele I tried!) He helped me with everything in my house and enjoyed my dog’s playfulness.🐕 I could call him while I was in Home Depot for advice...he always answered my calls. He was a pillar of strength & stability to not only his family but to me as well. I never expected my best friend’s Dad would be someone in my life I could always depend on. I will always remember how he welcomed me with a smile and a helping hand. I know the Lord is welcoming you in Heaven .You are loved and will be missed immensely. 💗Rest In Peace.

Kenny was a great brother in law, always willing to help, give support, make you laugh, but most of a friend...I will miss him very much...

One night in the hospital shortly after his diagnosis and through his own tears, Uncle Kenny told me that the last words my dad spoke to him the night before he passed were “Take care of Nancy and the girls for me” ❤️

Since my dad’s passing, my uncle has become a father figure to me. He was the one I go to for advice or home repair issues. He was helping fix my garage. He built my deck outside. He repaired my burst pipes in the kitchen. He replaced pipes for my laundry downstairs. He changed all my interior doors and framed them all out in my hallway and bedrooms. There is so much of Uncle Kenny’s touch throughout my home 💙

RIP Uncle Kenny - fly high with the angels above. We will remember you and think of you often xoxo ❤️

Amazing father and Poppa! We love you so much and will miss you everyday. You were my biggest supporter and always made sure the kids and I were safe and happy. I don't know what we will do without you. You truly are our hero dad!

Karen and family,
I’m so sad for your loss. Kenny was a lovely man. His dry sense of humor was hysterical, and he was always so fun to be around! My deepest sympathies to you all.

Dear Karen, I am so very sorry to you and your family for your loss. On the few occasions I got to meet Kenny, it was so clear that he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Deepest sympathies from me and the Chilton family. Much love, Elizabeth

We were thinking about Kenny and one of the funny things we recalled his batchlor party and how he had the whole fire department and family and friends running around town the whole time he was watching the fiasco from under a tree across the street from his house. Also the many good times we shared as firemen. Kenny was the best brother and friend and he will be missed so very much. Our hearts are heavy
