Carol Schaaf

Carol L. (Vogel) Schaaf, of Millvale, passed away at home after a long illness on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. She was the loving mother of Michael Schaaf and his wife, Denise of Lower Burrell, Rachel Savka and her husband, Chad of Creighton and Rhonda McNally and her husband, Tom of Cheswick; proud Grandma of Darien and Daniel; sister of Diana Muchkivch of Millvale, Ronald Vogel and the late Winnie Comis, Roberta Adamiak and Bert Vogel. Also surviving is her companion of thirty-five years, Phil Cochran and her best friend, Sue. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, April 22, 2018, from 3 pm until time of prayers at 7 pm at the Healy-Hahn Funeral Home, Inc., 512 Grant Ave., Millvale, (412-821-2940). Carol's children recall their mother as a very devoted friend to many, an amazing grandmother and a hard working caregiver, but most importantly she will remain in their hearts eternally as a loving parent.
