As a military family the Stones lived many places, before settling in Fort Walton Beach in 1968. Nancy and her family all loved the beach life and activities. She had sand in her shoes but still has Texas in her heart.
Nancy began a career in Real Estate and after a few years opened Nancy Stone Realty. She was active with the Board of Realtors and continued to be active in Real Estate as she fought her battle with cancer.
Nancy was a life-long Episcopalian and a member of St. Simon's.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, Terry, and grandson Bryan Stone. Nancy is survived her son Kelly ( Shelly), son Bill ( DeeDee), daughter Tracy "Twinkle" Outzon, 4 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at St. Simon's on the Sound on Thursday October 10 at 3:00 pm.
