Heartfelt sympathy to Yvonne, Gloria and families. I have such fond and warm memories of you all from childhood ... there was a true sense of love and laughter all around. Whether it was enjoying words of wisdom from Harlow with his deep, smooth voice ... or giggling nonstop from a something Gloria said ... you all carved a special place in my memory. Peace and best wishes.

I remember as a kid sitting at their kitchen table eating lunch with Yvonne & Harlow. He would tell us jokes while we ate. The most memorable one was when he would “prove” to us how he only had 9 fingers. ❤️

Harlow was one of two men other than my Dad and uncles that were really big in forming me as a young kid. He was a close neighbor and with Arlene were great friends of my parents. He always made time for me at his Lakeland Auto Electric to fix or tune my homebuilt motorbike whenever I stopped by. He would faithfully gather us kids each Wednesday night to teach the scriptures that were so important to him. We kids were entertained watching Harlow's Adam's apple travel up and down as he carefully and clearly read and spoke. We were probably not aware at the time how these precious truths were soaking into our beings. I think often back to those days and how much he means to me today. A trait that Harlow shared with my Dad was that even after cleaning up after a long day's work, they retained the comforting faint fragrance of parts cleaner and exhaust fumes mingled with Old Spice. Hmmmm, I can smell it now..... Thank God for Harlow Anderson!
