Jim was an avid motorcycle and classic car enthusiast. One of his favorite memories as a child was working at the "Cities Service" gas station with his dad in Hammond, Indiana. As he grew older, he really enjoyed attending Nascar races, drag races and car shows with his family and friends. Spending time with his loved ones was what he lived for and cherished the most. Especially in the final years of his life.
Jim was a great man. A giving person with a heart of gold. He touched the lives of so many, and always offered a helping hand to anyone in need. He was strong for others even when he wasn't strong himself.
His fun-loving, rock-n-roll soul will be deeply and forever missed by all who knew him.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Paulla Redar; his sons, Carey, James and Michael Redar; his grandkids, Brandon Harris, Colby Hunt and Peyton Redar; his sister, Kathy Redar Johns; his daughter-n-law, Roxanne Redar; his nieces, Shannon Johns-Hillers, Melissa Grcich and Angela Redar; his nephew, Matthew Helms and so many other family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Jim's life will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, March 18th, 2021.
Flowers, condolences and donations may be offered at 5898 Brookstone Dr. NW Concord, NC 28027.
