Phyllis and I became friends thru the 18 Holers golf group at Pine Lake Country Club. She was one of the first ladies I met and instantly liked. She and I were paired quite often in both the weekly outings and some special events. It always delighted me to have her in our foursome as she was always light hearted, fun to be with, and always considerate of the other players in the group.
I was really shocked to hear of her passing as I am no longer a member of the Club and we have sort of lost touch with each other over the past year or so. She will sorely be missed by me, and I'm sure everyone that knew her will feel the same way. She was a lovable, kind person that I always looked forward to spending time with. As the old saying goes, "They don't make 'em like that anymore". May God bless all of her family and friends during this time of loss.

Jack, Dale and Debbie, we are saddened by the earthly loss of Phyllis. Even though we know she pain free and welcomed to her heavenly home by her beloved Lord and Savior, her presence will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She was a fine southern lady and we were fortunate to witness the true dedication of your family as you surrounded her with love during her health struggles. Our daily prayers for comfort will continue. Love and hugs!
