Ronald Theroux, "Rony" of Mint Hill passed away on July 20, 2020. He was born on November 30, 1945 in Tocoa, Georgia. Rony graduated from Athens High School. He later married Vicenta (Walker) Theroux on November 30, 1968. Rony worked for CSX Transportation for 40 years as a signalman. His passion was hot rods and classic cars. He also coached sports in the Special Olympics for over 20 years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vicenta and his children; Sam, Libby and Eddie Theroux.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 11:00am at Cornerstone Baptist Church 8947 Albemarle Rd, Charlotte, NC 28227. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Cornerstone Baptist Church Handy Man's Ministry.
