Linda was always there for me and Jason. She always made sure we were taken care of before she took care of herself. I used to tell never mind about us just take care of yourself ,but she would never listen. For 40 years Linda brought me love joy happiness and companionship. Linda and I went everywhere and did everything together. Camping with her parents Chuck and Rose, her brother Harold and his wife Linda, and their 2 kids John and Yvonne. Or just on our own, travelling the highways and back roads of BC. Stopping at the many campgrounds and motels on the way. Timothy lake, Birkenhead, Goldbridge, Mackenzie, various places in the Okanagan, a stop to visit with Margaret and Russell in Parksville and various other places on Vancouver island to name a few. When they built the Coquihalla highway we had to check out every campground on the way. I think that took 3 or 4 years. We went on a couple of cross Canada trips to Ontario to see my family in Kingston and Newboro stopping in Niagara Falls and several other places on the way. The only time we were not together is when She went on a couple of trips with her mother Rose, her aunt Leah ,and her sister in law Linda Williamson. I met Linda totally by luck, my friend Scott had applied for a job at Chef Ready foods in Vancouver. I answered the phone when they called him for an interview. I told them he already was working, but I could use a job. They hired me. Linda's sister in law Lynn Baker got Linda a job there. She put in a good word for me and that’s how I met Linda. Right away I knew she was the one for me and on November 1 1979 we started our life together. That was the best thing that ever happened to me. Linda I Love You and will miss you much, not only were you my lover but you were also my best friend, until we meet again. My prayers are with you. Love Always Dave.
