I went in search of my absolute favorite patient of all time. I was June's audiologist for 2 years in the late 1990s, after I had sold my practice and just before moving away from the LA area. She was delightful. She was kind and caring, and our appointments always turned into sessions of laughter and, sometimes, tears. In fact, I quickly learned to block 2 hours (rather than the usual one hour) for her appointments. It was easy to lose track of time, because it was easy to get lost in June's wonderful stories. I've never forgotten her, and wish I had maintained contact with her.  Please accept my deepest condolences, and know how much she was loved.
