Ilenda P Garcia

Ilenda Pena Garcia, age 89 yrs. of Santa Elena, Texas passed away on January 24, 2023. She was born on October 03, 1933 at Los Mesquites Ranch, San Isidro, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Garcia Jr. Ilenda is survived by her children, Maria de los Angeles, Miguel Antonio (Liza) and Marco Antonio (Claret). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Antonio Daniel and Andrea Michelle. Ilenda was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. She was a woman of strong faith and instilled in her children the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Ilenda will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched. A visitation will be held Sunday January 29, 2023 from 3PM - 9PM and a rosary reciting at 7PM at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission, TX. A Chapel Service will occur Monday January 30, 2023 at 10AM at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission and a burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens at 11AM in Mission, TX.
