Clyma G. Smith , 84, passed away peacefully at home in Semmes on Friday, July 6, 2018. Devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Melton Smith, Jr.; son, Timothy Andrew Smith; and 12 siblings of the Swindle-Rogers family. Mrs. Smith is survived by her children, Peggy Mae (Edward) Hagar; William Richard (Debra) Smith; Deborah S. (Richard) Bell; Melton Dale Smith; and Kimberly S. (Raymond) Hunt; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great, great-grandchild; as well as other relatives and friends. Mrs. Smith was an avid gardener and loved to cook for her family. She worked in retail in Mobile most of her life. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 9, 2018 at Christ United Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Rob Couch officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Spring Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will be accepting friends at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin St., Sunday, July 8, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com

I WORK WITH CLYMA AT WALMART 853 .WE HAD A LOTTERY POLL GOING AND SHE MADE SURE SHE GAVE MONEY TO BE IN THE POLL .HOPING WE WIN AND SHE COULD RETIRE EARLY. WE TOOK BREAKS AND LUNCHES TOGETHER. I ENJOY WORKING WITH HER EVERY DAY. YOU WILL BE MISS GREAT LADY.
