Franklin "Frank" Jackson Moorer, Sr.

Mr. Moorer retired from Alabama State Port Authority Terminal Railway after 40 years of service.

After retiring he loved to garden and spending time with his family.

Mr. Moorer was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Maebell McCory Moorer.

Surviving are his loving and devoted wife, Aquilla Gurley Moorer; daughter, Fran D. Moorer, his son, Franklin J. Moorer, Jr.; grandchildren, Elizabeth Pierce, Darrell Reed, Keegan Reed, McKenzie Mitchell and Taylor Williams; great grandchildren, Emily Pierce, Mallory Walley, Laikynn Mitchell and Rylan Mitchell; brother, Claude N. Moorer also, survived by other relatives, family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile, on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 in the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Mobile, With Rev. Glenn Barnhill officiating. Interment will follow in Valhalla Memorial Gardens, Eight Mile, Al.
