Thurs. Jan. 21, 2021, Harold Augustus Watters, Jr. went home to be with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, his beloved wife, Marian Frances "Frankie" Watters, his siblings, parents and many friends who have gone before him. He was born in Mobile, AL where he lived his entire life. He served in World War II and was part of the occupying forces in the European theater. He walked 98 years with God, was married 63 years, raised 5 children, Markie Watters, Mac Watters (w. Joyce), Lida Robert, Richard Watters and Curran Watters Sr (w. Carolyn). He was grandfather to 12.
Mr. Watters is preceded by his granddaughter Kathy Reneke. He is survived by Niki Reneke, Chad Scott, Rod Scott, Corey Scott, Lori Adkinson, Benjamin Robert, Nicholas Robert, Amanda Watters, Adam Watters, Gracie Watters, and Curran Watters Jr. He was great-grandfather to 10, Morgan Dutton, Greg Jordan Jr, Garrett Scott, Amber Scott, Parker Scott, Mandy Scott, Andrew Scott, Nolan Adkinson, Noah Scott, and Nicholas Adkinson. He was uncle and great uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home between 12 noon and 2:00 PM Friday Jan. 29th. immediately followed by a service in the chapel.
Graveside service will be held immediately following chapel services at Pine Crest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
