We are sad to announce the passing of Robert Francis (Bobby/Bob) Oteri on September 23, 2023 from natural causes at age 94. He was born in Mobile, AL to Joseph Francis Oteri, jr. and Rosalie Bernadette Ellermann on January 28, 1929. He was a graduate of McGill Institute and an Army veteran. After the Army, he worked at Brookley AFB until it closed in 1965. He then bought a shrimp boat and ran his own business as Captain of that boat until he retired. He was a lifelong bachelor. He is survived by 2 nephews and a niece: David Oteri (Marlene), John Southall (Sharman) and Althea Ann Vaughn.
There will be a Memorial and reception at Pinecrest Cemetery on October 18 at 1:00 P.M. His cremated remains will be buried at Magnolia Cemetery.
