Warren Joseph Yemm

Mr. Warren Joseph Yemm - A native of Chicago, IL and a resident of Mobile, AL died at home on Saturday, August 11, 2012. Mr. Yemm was a 1963 graduate of Spring Hill College, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3038 at Spring Hill College and the St. Ignatius of Loyola Assembly of the 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a Retired Lt. Col. of the U.S. Army Reserve and a long time member of a local mystic society. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Ashley and Mary Bernice Yemm and his grandson, Garrett Yemm. He is survived by two sons, Warren Joseph Yemm, II, Chattanooga, TN and Lt. Cmdr. Sean Patrick Yemm, USN, of San Diego, CA.; three siblings, Mary Denise Melis, El Cerrito, CA., Dick Yemm, Vero Beach, FL and Terrance "Terry" Yemm, Williamsburg, VA; two grandchildren, Brendan Yemm and Emily Yemm and other relatives. Visitation will be Tuesday evening at Radney Funeral Home from 5 until 7 PM. Visitation will be at the Marion Center on Wednesday from 12 noon to 1 PM followed by Mass at St. Ignatius Catholic Church at 1 PM. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be his brother knights of the Spring Hill College Chapter of the Knights of Columbus.
