She was born on May 12, 1937, daughter of the late Frank and Helen Kurzeja.
Bernadine was married to Walter J. Pietrowski Sr. who preceded her in death in 1988.
She remarried to Frank A. Krauss III, who preceded her in death in 1997.
Bernadine is survived by her seven children and their spouses, Helen (John) Huseltine,
Thomas (Linda) Pietrowski , Joyce (Milton) Smith, Richard (Susan) Pietrowski,
Carol (Anthony) Helms, Andrea (Eric) Eliassen, Walter (Janice) Pietrowski
and two step children Frank "Buddy" (Sarah) Krauss and Leigh Ann (Ron) Dennis.
Bernadine is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at
McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. A funeral mass will be held 11:00am Monday, May 21, 2018
at Our Lady of Lourdes in Monroe, NC.
