Edith was such a wonderful person. She had a heart for elderly people and served on a ombudsman committee with me fighting for elderly people's rights in nursing homes. She was always full of laughter. She will truly be missed by all that knew her. I was serving on a disaster relief during this time and sorry I was not here for her or you. You will be in my prayers.

Edith was my son's bus driver for two years then they switched her route. 😔
She was so loving with the children on that bus and she always drove slow through the neighborhood. I greeted her every morning. She always answered my gardening questions. She definitely would tell me if my son was helpful to her or not. ( Usually he was) She was an amazing person. She will be greatly missed. RIP Ms. Edith. Love Stacy Haley and Alex Haley💖

We got to know Edith over 20 years ago through our dear friends, Mike and Melinda . As stated from many others, she always had a beautiful smile on her face and was full of life. It was obvious how much she loved her family. When I would see Mike and her together that smile got even bigger. She was a proud momma. Melinda always bragged on her mother in law and vice- versa. They shopped together like they were best friends. That’s a rare find these days! And Ohhhhh how Edith spoiled her only granddaughter, Audrey !

To Jimmy, Mike , Melinda & Audrey —may you find peace and comfort during this difficult time and carry a little bit of Edith with you to spread her loving spirit!
We love you , Sally and Dave Duncan

Mz. Edith was always the last bus in at Porter Ridge High. She LOVED her kids- and they loved her. She would call me to her bus and ask me to do a “shout out” on the announcements because her kids were so well behaved. She was a lovely spirit, and will be greatly missed. I am proud to have worked with her for 2 years of my career.
