OBITUARY

Joseph Frank Caspary

October 8, 1929October 2, 2019

Joseph Frank Caspary, 89, of Monroe, North Carolina passed away peacefully on October 2, 2019.

Joe was born in New York City on October 8, 1929 to the late Frank and Elizabeth Caspary. He was retired from ATT&T and in his later years, relocated to Monroe to be closer to family. Joe loved to travel as did his twin sister. He enjoyed eating out, especially at German restaurants. Joe’s favorite color was any shade of blue. He was a very generous man and loved helping others. Joe loved his family with all of his heart and will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, Joe is predeceased by his loving wife Veronica “Ronnie” of 48 years; sisters, Elizabeth Reinwald and husband Lou and Catherine Fetchner and husband Rudy. He is survived by his three children, Ruth Marinello and husband David, Ginny Graganella and husband Peter and Frederick Caspary and wife Christina. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Pamela Graganella, Jesse Caspary, Jillian Caspary, Ashley Brown and Matthew Mujica.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday October 6, 2019 at Secrest Grove Baptist Church, 4505 Weddington Road, Monroe, North Carolina. The Funeral Service will be at the church at 3:00 p.m.

A second visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at New Hyde Park Funeral Home, 506 Lakeville Road, New Hyde Park, New York.

Burial with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Calverton National Cemetery, 5498 Middle Country Road, Wading River, New York.
