Let me join the masses of saying Mr. Gleason was one of my favorite teachers and one of the most dedicated I have ever known. I think of him often because my son became a history teacher. I just naturally associate history with Mr. Gleason, though do I remember correctly that he taught math once as well???
Wish I could have heard him teach a bible lesson! Only eternity will tell of how many lives he touched.
We are all the better for having known him. Can you imagine him meeting some of the people he taught us about?
Peace and comfort to the family!

Fred was a highly valued friend who lived a life reflective of his Christian values. He was an ethical man who served as a positive role model for those whom he came into contact. He was my golfing buddy, played church softball, sang in the church choir under my direction, and was a respected Christian educator. He was always there for me when needed. Fred will be sorely missed by a multitude of friends.

Feed was one of our East Gadsden friends, also went to Gadsden High class of 1956 together. Sorry to hear that he has passed. I had not heard from him since school days. From his Obit, he must have had a great career as a teacher.
