Survivors include his mother Deborah Stamps and his brother Eric Stamps. He will be forever remembered by both. Glendale will also be mourned and missed by his special friend, Lori Blackwood. Numerous friends will also feel his loss. He is preceded in death by his father John Stamps and grandparents Lloyd and Della Mays.
Glendale was born January 15, 1973, in Nashville, TN. He graduated from Sylacauga High School in 1991 and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from the University of Montevallo in 2007. He worked in the banking industry for many years. Glendale loved watching sports and was a tremendous Alabama Crimson Tide football fan. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, had a great appreciation for movies, was an avid gamer, and could definitely be called a foodie. He had a big heart and never met a stranger.
The family will receive friends at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel, 3715 AL-25, Montevallo, AL 35115, on Friday, Oct 30, 2020, from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm for visitation with a memorial service immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or your local animal shelter.
