Ethel worked at Western Auto for 30 years. While living in Texas, she worked at HEB Methodist Hospital where she was awarded Employee of the Year. Ethel was a caregiver and a rock for many. She never met a stranger and was a servant of the Lord.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Taff; son, Wayne Majors; and grandson, Nicholas Brasher.
Ethel is survived by her daughters, Connie Strong and Nancy Brasher (Danny); son, Eddie Taff; grandchildren, Tanya Lollar (Gene), Jeff Brazier, Tamara Strong, Shea Graham and Lauren Brasher; great grandchildren, Kalyn, Madelyn, Brittany, Jordan and Case; great-great grandchild, Ella Rose; sisters, Lilly, Lena, Barbara, Diane and Teresa; and countless nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
A visitation for Ethel will be held Monday, March 1, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Spring Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 3411 Spring Creek Road, Montevallo, Alabama 35115, with the funeral service following at 2:00 PM. The burial will occur Monday, March 1, 2021 at Patton Chapel Cemetery, 1934 Patton Chapel Rd, Hoover, AL 35226.
