My heart is sad for the Winsett family.  Mr. Winsett was a good man.  I am so sorry for your loss and hope your happy memories sustain you as you grieve.

I met Charlie while working a World Changers project in Birmingham,  Alabama.  Charlie supervised about 5 job sites for me.  I will always remember his strong work ethic, leadership skills and Christian outlook.

Charlie was such a Great Christian. We were Blessed to be able to share Carpenters for Christ with him.  . I remember that he took a course in brick masonry at the technical school so that he could teach other Carpenters brick masonry for our projects. We walked together many years and he Lived His Testimony. He Loved his Family and spoke of Jimmie often. He was a Righteous Husband Father Servant-Leader.

Charlie was a big part of conturucting Lone Oak Baptist Church in Energy, Illinois 
As church pastor I expressed to Charlie what a blessing the CFC was to our church.
His reply was always the same "we are the ones receiving the blessing".
I didn't understand his statement until I was able to participate in a CFC project.
Charlie was correct.
Charlie was a great builder and encourager to me and my church.
This world is a better place because of My brother Charlie.
Thank you family for sharing him with us.

I met Charlie on a Carpenters for Christ trip in 2011 in Marshall, IL. He was always having fun while he worked and slept on the job. He was an inspiration to many of a man serving God throughout his work and life. Prayers for family and friends. 

Charlie was a very very smart, courteous and so helpful to members of the Alabama National Guard.  He treated everyone the same.  He was fun to work with and could always come up with a response.  He would have made an outstanding General.  He was considerate of everyone and whatever their situation was.  He would advise if asked.  He was sought out by many of all levels in the Guard for his input, advise and work assistance.  I greatly appreciate all the help he gave me and guidance in the work at the National Guard.  He was a well seasoned storehouse of information.

My cousin, Charles, was one of the nicest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.  To me, he was a kind and loving soul.
