Doreen Fairclough Nichols, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Monday, May 17, 2021. She was born in England and moved here in the late 1950’s. She loved the Beatles and was a big fan of the Liverpool soccer team! Growing roses and tending her garden was one of her favorite activities.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Nichols; her father, John Eric Fairclough; and her mother, Jane Worthington Fairclough. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Susan Nichols; grandchildren, Stacy Walden, Rip Walden, Ashley Nobles; great grandchildren, Christian King, Kelsey Walden (fiance’- Ronnie Owens), Ashton Thomas, Raylee Wright; brothers, Freddy Fairclough (Zelda), Steven Mannion (Lorraine), Eric Mannion (Jean); and a sister, Jean Hughes (Norman).
A graveside service will be on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 11:30am at Greenwood Cemetery.
