Naomi Ruth Lorentson, age 82, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Wednesday February 21, 2018. Naomi was born November 3, 1935 to Clara McDougal Parmer and James R Parmer.

Ruth is survived by her sons; Vincent Lee Hammons and son Loren J Hammons.

Ruth was preceded in death by; son Scott Christopher Hammons and daughter Helen Ann Hammons; father James R Parmer and mother Clara McDougal Parmer.

God makes a few angels here on earth and He calls them home when their work is complete. Ruth's work was complete and she has gone home to be with her Lord. She was blessed with four children who were influenced by her kindness. Her children will always remember Ruth!

A visitation for Ruth will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. A celebration of life will occur Friday, March 2, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. Burial will follow at Greenwood Serenity Cemetery.
