Granny, I will never forget all the summer visits. The days you properly taught me how to starch a skirt and pants, and paid me a quarter for each one I done for you. The laughs we shared, the memories you shared, the bits and pieces of your life you shared with me. And how you could place a spread of food on the table during the holidays (as a kid I thought we were rich eating off the special dishes from your china cabinet). A queen in the kitchen, and a master seamstress. I wish I could have been with you during these last days. All my heart and love. Rest In Peace Granny. I love you.

Lillian was more than just my mother-in-law, she was a special mother, friend, grandmother to my children ,and great-grandmother to my children's children; Oh such precious memories we have to always cherish! ... our phone conversations were consistently exciting and full of love and laughter ... she was repeatedly telling me she was going to live to be a hundred ... I believe she would have if it weren't for her accident ... she was my constant rock ... someone I could always call to lighten the day ... she was such a precious person and she will be missed tremendously by me ... RIP Lillian, I am so sorry you had to endure the last few months alone .... I will always love and cherish you!!
