Joseph Lovett Jr.

Joseph owned and operated Lovett's Roofing for over 20 years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will remain in our hearts forever.

He was preceded in death by his two sons, Joseph Lovett III and Robert Lovett, two daughters, Connie Allen and Veronica Lovett, parents, Joseph "Doddy" Lovett, Sr. and Ethel Marie Corbello Lovett, a brother, Vernon "Shorty" Lovett, and a sister, Lottie Jean Smith.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Carolyn Lisotta Lovett of LeBleu Settlement; 8 children, C.W. Lovett and wife, Cindy of Burleson, TX, Jimmy Dean Lovett and wife, Kim of LeBleu Settlement, Jessie James Lovett and wife, Christal of Wataga, TX, Mary Camp of LeBleu Settlement, Angela Lovett of Lake Charles, Frances Fontenot and husband, David of Lake Charles, Carolyn Sue Lovett and husband, Andrew Crockett, Sr. of LeBleu Settlement, and Rose Cecile Lovett and husband, Josh of Gillis; 35 Grandchildren; 49 Great-Grandchildren; and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 - 10 p.m. with a Rosary held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Hixson Funeral Chapel in Moss Bluff. Visitation will resume at 8 a.m. Thursday until time of service at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Theodore Catholic Church in Moss Bluff. Rev. Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Burial will follow in Birdnest Cemetery in Gillis.
