He was born in Leesville and lived in Ragley. He was a retired electrician and a member of St. Theodores Catholic Church. Mr. Craft enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, enjoyed family reunions, deer hunting, camping, fishing, being outdoors, working on vehicles, and loved to travel and go to car shows, travel trailer shows and gun shows. He provided for his family very well, even if he had to travel to different states for months at a time and tried to give his wife anything she wanted or needed. He was always willing to help others in need and always kept in touch with all his family. Mr. Craft was a US Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Gwen Craft of Ragley; sons, Glenn Craft Jr. of Conroe, TX, and Ragan Gaspard of Ragley; daughters, Connie Blanchard of Lake Charles, Denise Flores of Georgetown, TX, Keri Burke of Ragley, Tarry Franck of Ragley; brothers, Jimmy Craft of Porter, TX, Douglas Craft of Cleveland, TX and Eugene Craft of Merryville, LA; sisters, Linda Boothe of Deville, LA, Wanda Melton of Winnfield, LA and Dana Cahoon of Elizabeth, LA; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A mass of Christian Burial will be 11am, Friday, October 19, 2012 at St. Theodores Catholic Church. The Msgr. Charles Dubois will officiate. Visitation will begin Thursday 4pm-9pm with a scripture service at 6pm and resume Friday, 8am until service time. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley.
