Mickey Williams, 61 of Florien, Louisiana passed away February 14, 2018. He was one of four children, born on September 17, 1956 in Leakesville, Mississippi to Johnny B. and Betty Jean Williams. After many years in the construction industry he chose to live the retired life but was anything but that. He was a family man who actively enjoyed the gifts Mother Nature had to offer, after a day of hunting or fishing you could often find him retiring to his little piece of heaven, his camp in Florien. Survivors include two daughters; Amber (Matt) Danyale McGee of Moss Bluff and Elizabeth (Dustin) Ann Scalia of Ragley; two brothers Lee Vardaman Williams and Terry Benjamin Williams, both of Texas; One sister Vicky Dorain Willams - Son of Mississippi; four grandchildren Alex Matthew McGee, Christopher Wayne McGee, Gentry Ann Scalia and Brantley Allen Scalia. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Kristen Wayne Williams. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday February 18 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff, beginning at 11a.m., followed by his memorial service at 1p.m. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
