So sorry to hear of Gloria's passing. We were friends since our first year as undergrads at Cornell, and had kept contact over the years. Our sincerest condolences to all the family from Nora Heller Freund and John Freund, Toronto Canada.

My daughter was a patient of dr edis since we moved to the area. She took excellent care of my daughter and easily separated medical issues from parenting issues. I appreciated her respect for valuing me as a parent and my daughter as a person. She was a wonderful person and pediatrician. Her loss is very saddening to us. We send our best to her family, and of course all of the people she worked for who are mourning her loss.

Dr. Edis was one of the finest pediatrician in her field, she cared for my niece, son and several family members and friends children. My family and I are deeply saddened to hear of her passing. God be with her family and may she rest in peace.

Since our first son had to be transferred to neo-natal intensive care for two weeks, a few hours after birth, we were anxious about our second delivery three years later. A few minutes after our son's birth, Dr. Edis handed him to me and said, "He's just fine... a perfect 10." Even after we moved further up the county, we stayed with the practice until our sons aged out of it.

We are shocked to hear sudden passing of Dr. Edis. She was a wonderful pediatrician for both of our boys past 5 years, and she always tried to comfort them with some Japanese words when they were sick. She will be missed.

We are so sad to hear that Dr. Edis has passed away. She was an amazing pediatrician--she was so patient, kind and very gentle with my son. As a first time parent, I always worry about every little thing my son encounters. She always made me feel reassured because she was so thorough with her exams and knowledge. My son who is now three loves her so much and gets disappointment when she isn't there to examine him. I hoped that she would be there for him until he turned 18. I know that Dr. Edis also looked forward to being his doctor until he turned 18.

Dr. Edis, you will be missed and we thank you for being so patient with us.

We are so sad to hear that our wonderful Dr. Edis has passed away. She was one of the kindest and most sincere people I've ever known. It was absolutely no problem for her placing calls at 3am to reassure us that our kids will be alright. Thank you Dr. Edis for all you've done for our three kids since we moved to this area in 1993. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her four children and families, of whom she spoke so highly and loved very much. R.I.P. Dr. Edis - we will miss you!

Dr. Edis once opened her office to care for our sick children on Christmas morning. We were amazed and will never forget her kindness. What a wonderful doctor. Thank you Dr. Edis. You will be missed.
