Laura attended Southside High School. After graduation, she had two boys, Austin and James, and lived life to the fullest. Her greatest accomplishment in life was being a grandma to her RemRon and Layne Bug. With those girls, she was a child again, slaying dragons, planning their next attacks on John, and sneaking HoHo’s with whipped cream in the middle of the night. They even had a special goodbye dance “shake your booty girls”. Laura was one of a kind.
Survivors include her life partner, John Whitmire; two sons, Austin “Candy Kane” (Kiersten) Lynn and James “Baby James” Lynn Jr.; two granddaughters, Remington Kentlyn Deann Lynn and Alayna Renee Lynn, whom she loved more than anything; two siblings, Thomas Wilson and Lisa Archuleta (Victor); a special nephew, Brandon Wilson; a lifelong friend, James Lynn Sr., three fur babies, Max, Delilah, and Jazzy; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Wilson; father, Thomas Leroy Wilson; a sister, Laura Ann Wilson; and a special aunt, Joyce D. Harris.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
