I have been best friends with his granddaughter, Julia Tuttle for almost 30 years. I remember the first time I spent the night at his home. I was made to feel incredibly welcome. It was almost as if I were his granddaughter as well. I never felt like an outsider when I was around the family

There has never been a better or more loving husband, father or grandfather. He was a good man to the core of his being and we will always miss him. Our world would be a better place if more people were like him!
With love and respect,
Martha

Although we can not be there in person we are with you in our thoughts and prayer. It is with great sadness that we come together with the loss of a loved one. Uncle Loren will be remembered for his kindness and his incredible sense of humor, but most of all for the love of his family. I have always admired the love Uncle Loren and Aunt Lawanda shared.
May God bless you.
Love Tom & Barb Holm

Rare loving man who always had time to hear my troubles and give solid advice (even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear). I will miss his laugh and how he would crack a joke without warning and leave us laughing. I'm inspired by his long loving marriage which shows with a little work, true love always lasts. I am already missing you, Papa.
