Richard K. Hardenburgh

Dick Hardenburgh, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 10, 2014. Dick was born in Riverton Twp., MI on October 27, 1934. He worked at Mutual of Detroit for 43 years and served in the Army National Guard. He was active at Eastwood Community Church. Dick enjoyed woodworking, but more than anything, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Dick is now looking down, smiling, and saying, “I made it!” Dick will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Faith Hardenburgh; children: Richard (Lin) Hardenburgh, Debra (Ray) Martens, Pam (Harry) Knight; 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; siblings: Nancy (Maynard) Mitchell), Ben (Barb) Hardenburgh, Barb (Clarence) Degraves; good friends, Coke and Bob. He was preceded in death by both parents. A funeral service will take place at 1:00pm on Monday, July 14, 2014 at Ever Rest Funeral Home & Chapel (1783 E. Keating Ave., Muskegon). The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12 noon. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to Eastwood Community Church.
