Virginia was born December 13, 1930; the daughter of Henry and Amelia Myers. In 1952, she married Robert Zuidema, and together they were blessed with four children and 68 years of marriage. Virginia was a member of Tops and was a den mother for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. She enjoyed bowling, trips to the casino, and most of all, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a loving, friendly, caring woman who will be deeply missed.
Virginia is survived by: her husband, Robert; children, Russell (Brenda) Zuidema, Karen Zuidema, and David Zuidema; grandchildren, Tiffany (Jerry), Russell Jr., Nicholas, Kevin, Dawn, Kim, Brandi, and Holly; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her son, John; parents; one sister; and two brothers.
Visitation will take place from 4:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel, 1783 East Keating Avenue Muskegon MI 49442. A private memorial service will take place.
