Vertie Lee Traweek, 88, of Pasadena passed away peacefully in Red Oak, TX, Sunday morning, November 3, 2019. She was born to Lonnie Seelbach and Bertie Coats Seelbach on March 16, 1931, in Appleby, Texas. Vertie retired from Schlumberger in Houston. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Pasadena and was a member of the Widows Club at First Baptist. Vertie loved gardening, walking, and sewing. She also enjoyed county music.

She is survived by son, Alan Evans and wife Lori.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husbands, EM Evans and Gayle Traweek; son, Terry Glen Evans; daughter, Wanda Jean Carter.

Graveside Services will be held, 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 9, 2019, Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nacogdoches.
